CDA Begins Installation of New Led Lights & Repairing Outdated Street Lights

Islamabad: The Federal Capital’s streets, service roads, and key avenues are being lit up with new LED street lights as well as old ones being repaired and maintained by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

A CDA official mentioned that the civic body has already allocated funds in this regard, which will help to ensure proper lighting arrangement on these roads and streets.

He claimed that a recent rise in street crimes was brought on by a lack of street lighting in several parts of Islamabad, which prompted locals to bring the matter up with the appropriate authorities.

Furthermore, he said that the CDA was also taking proactive measures to guarantee the delivery of urban amenities to city residents and the upkeep of infrastructure, such as the installation of street lights, the carpeting of roads, and the settling of water-related problems that had been left unattended in the past.

According to the directions of CDA Chairman Capt. Anwar ul Haq, “Special attention is being given to the completion of the remaining development works in the sectors I, G, H, and D series, provision of civic facilities, and facilitating the home builders in these sectors.”
