RDA Acts Against YouTube Channels that Misrepresent Housing Ads

In order to stop the promotion of unlawful housing societies, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has taken decisive action by sending notices to the owners of seven YouTube channels and marketing firms.

This has caused public worry about potential public disinformation.

These YouTube channels were discovered to be aggressively advertising unlawful housing developments, said an RDA representative.

Rule 46 (1) of the Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Scheme Rules–2021 is obviously broken when such illegal housing schemes are advertised without first receiving prior authority clearance.
